Q. Do I have to share my listings with other agents and/or market their listings?
A. No you don't. The MLS service is optional. You remain in full control of your listings and can choose, if you desire, to share them in order to get more referrals.
Q. What if I don't need a free website?
A. You are not required to use our websites. But doing so will give you an integrated solution, aloowing you to upload a property once to your website, and then it can automatically appear in the MLS and our online portals.
Q. What is an MLS?
A. MLS stands for Multi-listing System (or service). It is a centralised database where many real-estate agents upload their properties. Our MLS allows you to remain in control of your listings. They are always owned by you. The MLS allows to to authorise other agents to market your listings. It also allows you to market other agents' listings that are on the MLS, if they authorise you to.
Q. Can I just share my listings with several real-estate agents I already know and trust?
A. Yes. You decide who you share with.
Q. Can I alter my free website?
A. You can alter it using our online website creator. If you want full FTP access, then you will need to upgrade to being a standard or professional member.
Q. How do I incorporate my new free website into my existing website.
A. The free website can replace your existing 'property listings search' section of your website, or it can add extra properties to your website, or it can replace your existing website completely - your choice.
If you want to link it in to your existing website, you can do this with a simple html link, or an html frame. If you want the free website to replace your existing website, then you are better off upgrading to standard or professional membership which will give you more control over your website.
Q. Can I have my own domain pointing to the free website.
A. Yes, using a redirect, link or frame which is something you can do from your existing website. If you wish your domain to point directly to your free website, there is a one-off fee of €50 to set up the DNS records on our servers.
Q. Nothing is really for free, is it? If we only use the free website - how do you make your money?
A. There is no charge to you for using the free website. We do place a small google adsense advert on the free websites, which can be removed when you upgrade to standard or professional membership. Obviously, we hope that you will be impressed by our real-estate technology and will see the benefits of upgrading your membership.
